Ferien nachher
After the wedding we would like to do a holiday trip in Indonesia together with you, our friends. We are thinking of a length of about 10 to 14 days. There are 3 different plans that we have in mind and propose you on this page. Please discuss it on the Forum or tell us by mail what you think about it.
Java - Bali Overland Trip
After the wedding we would start our trip in Jakarta and travel by bus through the island of Java. It offers centuries-old culture from king's castles to buddhist temples, a tropical climate including many volcanos.
Our trip would end up in Bali with a few days of relaxing at the beach.
Bali or Lombok Beach Holiday
Straight after the wedding we could head straight to Bali and stay there, relaxing on the beach, doing watersports, going out in the evenings, enjoy the rich hindu culture and heritage.
Alternatively we could move on to Lombok, the neighbour island of Bali. It offers the same beaches, but more pristine nature and less tourists.
Diving
For the more adventurous spirits, we propose to go to a diving trip together. Indonesia with it's 17'000 islands offers many famous diving spots and schools where you can make PADI beginner courses with professional instructors.
Diving is also possible in Bali or Lombok, so it's possible to combine a few days of diving with relaxing on the beach or hiking.
